Dress Code

We have a very student-friendly dress code; however, there are expectations that must be followed. Our expectations are for students to dress appropriately for a school setting.

*All personal areas are to be covered.
*No crop tops and all undergarments must be covered
*All shorts, skirts, and dresses must be at least fingertip length.
*Holes in jeans must only be past fingertips length. If holes are above the fingertips, they must be covered with leggings or tights
*Jeans, Joggers, and athletic shorts are acceptable.
*Pajamas are not allowed.
*No house shoes, slippers, slides, etc.
*Hoodies are allowed, but hoods may not be worn on the head.
*Clothing may not have inappropriate images or words.

SHIRTS / SWEATSHIRTS:

Students may wear any short or long sleeved shirt including T-shirts

Hoods will not be worn on a student’s head in classes or in the building – students may wear a jacket or the hoodie jacket in the classroom during instruction, but the hood must be off of their head.

No crop tops

PANTS / SKIRTS:

Students may wear any colored pants, jumpers, leggings, shorts, skorts, or skirts. Students may also wear sweat pants and sweatsuits.

Students may wear jeans. Jeans with holes may NOT have holes above the knee unless leggings are worn underneath to cover the skin.

Pants must be worn at the waistline (NO SAGGING).

Skirts, skorts, and shorts must be finger-tipped length.

Athletes and cheerleaders may ONLY wear Cheerleading Uniforms (with leggings under skirt), Volleyball Jerseys, Soccer Jerseys, and Football Jerseys on GAME days.

SHOES / BELTS:

Belts are not required, BUT if a student's pants are sagging below the waist they will be asked to wear a belt or a zip tie.

No house shoes, flip-flops, or slides (this is a safety precaution)

ACCESSORIES:

Students may not wear hats, bandanas (of any kind) scarves, hair bonnets, or blankets in the building at any time.

* Accessories that have any gang affiliation, drug paraphernalia, suggestive language or symbols are not permitted.

* Administration reserves the right to address any dress code issues that are deemed disruptive to the learning environment.

*Administration reserves the right to alter this dress code if students can’t abide by the rules and the dress code starts to disrupt the learning environment.
